C. Diff Test Results

So this is funny in a “lol at Mikhaila’s life” kind of way. I wrote the following on Feb 25, 2019, last week. Then I got results back for something else that completely scratch this theory. I’ll write about what that is this week, Sunday hopefully, and make a video too. I don’t want to get into it on this post. I thought I’d put this post from last week up anyway. Trying to figure out what is making you Read More

December 2018 Life Update

Merry Christmas!!! First things first. 2018 has been the best year of my life. I’ve been basically asymptomatic, off of all medications, and¬†feeling better than I ever thought possible. I haven’t been depressed since last February. That’s coming up on a year free of depression. I literally didn’t think that was possible. This Christmas was the best my Dad and I have felt ever. That should be the takeaway here. It’s winter, we aren’t on antidepressants and we had a Read More

Part of the food mystery potentially solved?

So like I wrote in this blog post, I have been searching for the underlying cause of what my and my father’s problems are. Why we can’t eat anything except for meat without having serious autoimmune and mood problems. I haven’t gotten less sensitive on this diet so it’s not purely a gut healing problem. Guess what I tested positive for? C. Difficile. I tested for Lyme (waiting for results), and some other things, but I also tested for C. Read More

Food Mystery Timeline/Overview 2015-2018

Hey everyone! So I feel great still. It’s been almost a year since I started only eating beef, and things have been consistently improving. I’m still trying to solve the mystery behind my food problems so I’ve written out as much as I can to give myself clues (and anyone else who is also suffering mysteriously). This is a long one, but if people are interested here it is: Initial symptoms in 2015 prior to dietary changes: Ideopathic arthritis – Read More

Gym after baby and for the first time since 2015… Suck it up.

I’ve been doing floor exercises since June or July (3 or 4 months), slowly getting stronger. Using 5 pound weights for my arms and just doing bodyweight exercises for my legs with some rubber bands. It started off ridiculously slow. I could hardly do 10 of these guys on my left leg: And I couldn’t (and still can’t) get my leg straight on my right side because of the hip replacement: It started off incredibly frustrating but I got stronger Read More

Really important read – Paleomedicina – Evidence the beef diet works

“We believe that the PKD is the only evolutionary adapted diet for humans. Rehabilitation of chronic diseases is most effective when the diet is limited to our real physiological needs. Eating fruits and vegetables does not form part of our physiological need but are associated with risks.” (PDF) Therapeutic protocol of Paleomedicina Hungary. Available from: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/323151200_Therapeutic_protocol_of_Paleomedicina_Hungary This place (Paleomedicina) has actual doctors prescribing a high fat meat diet to successfully treat chronic disease. With hugely positive results (much more effective Read More

Questionnaire (please fill in!!)

Here’s a survey I’ve been working on for 3 years. I began working on it when I first realized that there were overlapping symptoms between autoimmune disorders. It takes about 25 minutes to complete, and I would really appreciate people filling it in. I’m trying to get as much data as possible so I can work on (hopefully extremely useful) scientific paper. I think people will also find the questions interesting. I’ll be looking at how certain symptoms clump (what’s Read More

Update April 8 2018 – Jordan Peterson’s Diet – Zero Carb

Hi guys So Dad’s going on the zero carb diet – that’s the all meat, carnivore diet. With salt and sparkling water. Why? He had good results with the previous diets. In the greater scheme of things, I would say excellent results. We managed to keep the extreme depressive episodes away, he’s off medication, he lost 50+ pounds, his autoimmune symptoms went away. All in all, great results. So why the change? He’s doing it for almost the same reason Read More

Debunked – The China Study

I’m going to keep this EXTREMELY brief, and very simplified. If it’s too simplified for people’s liking let me know, but I don’t want to bog people down with information. Comment with thoughts, suggestions, other studies you’d like to know about, or more areas to read about the china study. What is The China Study? When discussing an all meat diet, I’ve heard The China¬†Study brought up numerous times. I wouldn’t say all of the science in it is bad, Read More

Zero Carb – The Carnivore Diet

So I’m onto the next stage of food weirdness. I’m on day 5 of only eating meat. What is the Zero Carb Diet? Literally, it’s people who only eat meat and animal products (this can include dairy). Obviously, it won’t include dairy for me. I still think dairy is evil. Some people have been doing this diet for 20 years. There are tribes that only eat meat as well (Inuit, Massai, etc.) How do they not get scurvy and vitamin Read More
