I’ve been beating beef about 2 months before you (Mikhaila). This year I had my blood work done for everything and it’s perfect. My inflammation markers are normal, kidney’s are at 108 which is above average, Cholesterol is spot on. Vitamins is spot on an. I finally told my doctor what I have been doing and he said exactly what I knew he would say if I had told him at the beginning. I thought by after all this time and then having the blood work done to show it how well it’s doing he bashed it and said all the things that is wrong with it. I said to him “but my blood work is perfect and above average” He just kept ignoring that part each time I brought it up. He said I need fiber and I said ” for what”?

In the end I got my satisfaction as I knew and he knew I knew that he was lost for words and kept stumbling on his words trying to find other reasons why I can’t do this.

So I said to him so your advice to me is to eat a regular diet and take anti inflammatory medications that will damage my organs rather than eat beef, feel great, have perfect blood work, my kidney and liver is function better than normal person? He said” I didn’t Say that”…

So what I took from this is he was a deer caught in the head lights trying to save his ego.

Doctors are good at saving lives but horrible at treating people

I’m on my fifth doctor and I have no interest in finding a new one as they are all the same. I figured out myself that I had Ankylosing Spodylitis and paid for the test. It came back positive and then he sent me to a RH to get diagnosed and I did get diagnosed officially. I even figure out I had sleep apnea, My doctor said I am not over weight to have it. Again I paid for the test and got diagnosed with it. And you wonder why doctors get pissed of when there patients have to ask Dr Google.

Fuck you doctors, go back to school because you all suck at treating people.

Some of the grammar in this piece is awkward, but more ‘awkward’ is the author’s uncritical regurgitation of current consensus on diet. Does she really know that “fiber is one of the most important carbohydrates you can include in your diet”? Who says? Who really knows? It is just dietary ‘tradition’. All this anti-meat advice, especially the idea that red meat causes cancer, is a misrepresentation of recent very large studies. There seems to be some ‘global warming’ assumptions involved. Red meat causes diabetes? Are you serious? Diabetes (T2) is caused by over-consumption of carbs. Red meat causes cardiovascular disease?! I suppose that would be deduced from the wrong but entrenched notion that saturated fat is bad for us. In actual fact… as we are now finding out… it is the polyunsaturates that are bad for us. After 50 yrs of margarine promotion! Wow.

Mikhaila, the first 5 months on beef and water i was improving, but since month 6 i’ve had weeks where i felt like total crap again, and then a week later i’ll feel better for a few days until it happens again, what do you think could be going on?

it’s not as bad as before the diet, but it seriously sucks when it happens, it’s primarily depression and lethargy that returns

Someone over at mentioned that i should try eating more, i went from eating 4.4lbs a day on average to 2.2lbs over the months, maybe my hunger signals are not aligned with my caloric needs?

I already ate a bit more just now even though i wasn’t hungry and i’m starting to feel slightly better so perhaps i was just undereating.

Hmmm. Are you eating out? No chances of contamination? No supplements or anything else?

I had a college level course in nutrition years ago, which is more than many doctors get. They see the articles in their professional journals and receive the pitches of pharmaceutical salesmen. Beef and meat from other ruminants fed on grass have qualities that make them superior to other land animals. I mix fish (wild caught salmon) eggs and organ meats with beef and lamb alternatively. With hardly any fiber in my diet, my hemorrhoids have healed and there is no constipation. I also follow the practice of intermittent fasting, eating breakfast and lunch and nothing until breakfast.
