    Hi Mikhaila,

from an online research I found out that there are three food intolerance tests one can do: IgG, MRT and ALCAT. I’ve read that you did the IgG test: are you familiar with the other tests I mentioned (they are supposedly better)?

    • So after a bit of looking into it, it does look like the MRT is the best option. The IgG test worked for me but it didn’t pick up on some lesser reactions I have (only the major extremely unpleasant ones). I’m assuming the lesser reactions are sugar but it’d be interested to see the results of an MRT. If you end up doing it and would be willing to share the results, let me know. I’ve only done the IgG test and I know that was useful, but its possible MRT is better.

Mikhaila, this was great, please do more podcasts like this – important conversations and ideas that need to be heard!

  3. I am curious about the diet. Do you believe this is a diet that would work for everyone or just as some people are allergic or irritated to say, gluten that doesn’t neccesarialy mean that all gluten is bad for all people.
I would appreciate your thoughts greatly.

    • I think there’s plenty of evidence that gluten is bad for everyone. I do think doing an elimination diet like this one will help you. It’ll remove most (if not all) of the irritants from your diet so that when you reintroduce you can monitor your own symptoms. I would seriously recommend it to anyone, it only takes a month to notice a difference.

    Great podcast!
So glad you decided to share your story. I have been in this food slump, scared to eat and unsure there was a way to escape the problem. You have brought hope back. Never would have thought to turn to meat, i have never been a big meat eater.
    Thank you,
    Take care

This is a question for Mikhaila: Can you have some fresh fruit during the initial 60 days where trying to treat your unhealthy gut flora? I have aggressive joint arthritis, ulcerative colitis, insomnia, etc. Am on 10th day of the meats & greens diet, with little fruit now and then. Also, is sweet potatoes recommended during the 60 day detox?

    • If you have aggressive arthritis I’d seriously recommend getting rid of as much sugar as you can. Sweet potatoes were a lot easier on me than any fruit.
